Wanted to let you know Michael Dye is an outstanding guy. Short version of a long story. Last year our upstairs unit again went out. The unit had been serviced many times over the last couple of years and the previous company seemed to be unable to do quality work. I reached out for references and was referred to Michael. He promptly came out, diagnosed the problem, and provided a quote to replace the split system. The installation was world class, and the last year with the
new unit has been stellar. This week the 5-ton unit decided not to start and I again called on Michael — via Patty. He came out with Fabian and trouble shot the unit. I was expecting the 11 year old unit to need replacing, but he recommended some alternatives because he felt the unit still had some mileage in it. The team had to return to the shop for some equipment, and Fabian returned and spent the next several hours repairing the unit. Fabian also did a great job.
In my opinion an A/C should last 15-years or more, and that only occurs with professional installation and service. The quality of the previous technicians left me disheartened about providing quality service. I have no such concerns with Johnson-AC. In a year or two when the 5-ton unit goes out, or when needing a service call, I’ll only be using your company…and Michael.

I had a tech back out today; the A/C was taking longer to cool down and kept running later into the night. That was similar behavior prior to the compressor locking out.
Lisa got me on the schedule and called me 30 minutes before a tech was available and heading my way. Very professional as always.
Siobhan was right on time, was very knowledgeable and efficient. Diagnosed the complaint within a few minutes of investigating and within 30 minutes had a solution. She found the system over-charged (a common problem with Puron systems…) and got about a pound and a half recovered. She took time to explain the readings while she let the system settle THEN followed up on the level a second time. When she arrived the 2nd stage was pushing 72 degrees; when she left it was pushing 55 degrees.
I’m writing you because compliments are just as important to a small business as complaints. Siobhan did a great job, she represents you and the company well.
