Since 1969, we have specialized in providing Residential, Commercial and Light Industrial Air Conditioning and Plumbing services. Our Service Technicians and Master Plumbers are skilled in their trade and paid by the hour for their experience and knowledge. We DO NOT hire “Sales Technicians” and have never had sales quotas or commissions. We believe that if a technician is dependent on commission or held to a sales quota, he/she will not make an effort to thoroughly diagnose and repair the problem in lieu of making the big equipment sale, whether or not the customer needs it or can afford it.

Instead, we encourage our customers to participate in Preventive Maintenance programs which include equipment inspection and cleaning. Regular Preventive Maintenance is affordable and will prolong equipment life to help reduce the likelihood of unexpected and costly repairs.

We will always explain the problem and present all the options so our customers can make informed decisions. Our reputation is vital and earning your trust is our goal, so we will always stand behind our work with a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.

Fall/Winter HVAC Preventive Maintenance Tips

With colder weather quickly approaching, now’s the perfect time to do some
routine maintenance on your heating and cooling system.

Make the switch from cooling to heating as smooth as possible. Below are
some insightful tips on fall HVAC preventive maintenance.

1. Clean or Replace Air Filters

Dirty HVAC filters restrict airflow and reduce the entire efficiency of the HVAC system. This should be done every 1-3 months.

2. Check Smoke Detectors and Carbon Monoxide Levels

Test and check the wiring on electricity-powered alarms. Check battery on and/or replace the battery if needed.

Remember that your gas furnace should receive a thorough inspection to reduce the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning. As an additional safety measure, install a carbon monoxide detector and check regularly to ensure that it is working properly.

3. Reprogram the Thermostat

When you start transitioning from cooling to heating, it’s a good idea to
reprogram your thermostat. You can save a lot of money with a smart or programmable thermostat — you just have to make sure it’s set properly.

Lower the thermostat temperature for the times you aren’t using or not at home to save some money and energy.

4. Adjust, Clean and Unblock All Vents and Registers

Cleaning your vents helps prevent the dirt and dust from entering your HVAC system and circulating around your home or business.

Troublesome areas should have the quantity of their airflow checked and re-balanced as necessary to provide comfort. Remember, hot air rises and cold air falls so different spaces in the building will have much different needs.

5. Professional HVAC Inspection/Tune-Up

Whether you are a homeowner or a property manager, you will need to find a licensed, reliable contractor to inspect your HVAC system(s) at least twice a year, once in the fall for the heating system and once in the spring for the cooling system. The inspection is meant to detect any potential problems and ensure that the HVAC system is working as efficiently as possible.

The HVAC inspection/Tune-Up involves checking/changing filters, inspecting electrical switches, belts, contacts, motors, safety switches, gas pressure, and refrigerant levels.

HVAC Preventive Maintenance Agreement

An HVAC maintenance agreement, such as our Texas Tough for homeowners, is a great way to keep your system at peak performance. For commercial customers, we customize a maintenance program for your business needs and budget. Having an HVAC maintenance agreement not only gives you the advantage of priority service in the event of system failure, but also ensures that your checkups are done on schedule.

This agreement can help protect your warranty and save a lot of money in the long run.
